| "You're one of the anonymous adventurers who are born of this world.
Your destiny hasn't been determined yet.
It's your call. Think about what you want to become and work hard to achieve your goal." |
In Emil Chronicle Online, everyone starts out as a Novice. But to advance further and deal with greater challenges, you will need to change your job to learn new skills and equip more powerful items. Being a Novice gives you access to a wide variety of jobs. Allowing you to choose a role that best suits your playing style. For example, you can choose to become a monster hunting sword or dual gun wielding killing machine, a nature-loving skilled farmer, a legendary blacksmith, a money-obsessed rich merchant, and etc.
However, you must also remember that the job you choose also determines the attributes growth and skills you gain, as well as equipments you can wear. Furthermore, your primary job will also limit the choices of expert and technical job advancements you can get later.
Although, there's really no race restrictions for all jobs, you must take into consideration that some character races are initially better suited for some jobs than others. For more information on racial differences, please see Races.
